Juventus have been to attached to Niclas Fullkrug as a fallback plan should they miss out on their top targets Joshua Zirkzee and Randal Kolo Muani. He has had a challenging first half of the season at West Ham, missing time due to a pair of injuries, Sky reports.
The Premier League side might sign off on a departure on loan, which would allow the Bianconeri to use their budget for other positions. The striker was close to Milan last summer before they signed Alvaro Morata. However, the Irons blew the rivals out of the water with a €27M offer.
Fullkrug has been proposed to Juventus and other sides by his entourage because he’s not a regular in London. West Ham also acquired Serhou Guirassy in the past window. He has seen consistent action only recently due to Michail Antonio’s car accident. He has scored twice in nine appearances.
The veteran is under contract until 2028. He had a solid campaign with Borussia Dortmund before moving to England. He starred also for Werder Bremer, Numberg, and Hannover earlier in his career. The marksman has 22 goals and 14 caps with Germany to his name.
The Old Lady could step up their search for a new offensive weapon because the return of Arkadiusz Milik has been further pushed back due to a calf issue, Mediaset informs.
He’d be a decent fit and the type of signing they could realistically afford without selling anybody important, but they have so far refrained from adding veterans since Thiago Motta took over, always keeping an eye on the future.
