Juventus talk Chukwuemeka with Chelsea after Renato Veiga agreement | OneFootball

After Renato Veiga, Juventus are now in talks with Chelsea to take midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka on loan as well.

Versatile defender Renato Veiga landed in Italy on Sunday and underwent his medical today, completing the move on a six-month loan.

Although Juve are paying €5m to have the player for the rest of the season, his salary is covered by Chelsea.

According to multiple sources including transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano and Calciomercato.com, this might not be the end of the negotiations between the two clubs.

Juventus have also asked about the availability of Chukwuemeka, a 21-year-old midfielder who had already been linked with a move to Serie A over the summer of 2024.

There is plenty of interest, including from Borussia Dortmund, while Milan, Lazio and Napoli were among the other sides keeping an eye on his progress.

Chelsea paid €18m to sign Chukwuemeka from Aston Villa in the summer of 2022, but he has been given only five competitive appearances this season for a total 130 minutes of football.
