Willy Gnonto, Georginio Rutter and Crysencio Summerville could all be on their way out of Elland Road before the end of the summer window.

Vultures will be circling Elland Road following Leeds United's failure to secure promotion back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.

A disappointing play-off final performance against Southampton and Adam Armstrong's goal consigned the Whites to another season in the Championship, which would have upset their supporters.

Having secured third place after registering 90 points - and having secured such a convincing win against Norwich City - Leeds would have been confident of prevailing in the play-off final.

But it wasn't meant to be in the end, and Leeds have already seen one key player depart, with Archie Gray securing a big-money move to Tottenham Hotspur.

Joe Rodon has moved the other way to secure a permanent switch to Elland Road, and although no other key players have departed at this stage, more signings may be required before the summer transfer window closes.

However, balancing the books will be crucial if they want to continue abiding by financial rules, and balancing the books may mean that further sales may be needed.

Even if sales aren't required, the West Yorkshire side may face a real battle to keep hold of some of their players, with the likes of Willy Gnonto, Georginio Rutter and Crysencio Summerville likely to attract plenty of interest in the coming weeks following successful 2023/24 campaigns.

Gnonto may have endured a difficult start to the season, but he managed to shine during the latter stages of the campaign and could have done enough to put himself in the shop window.

Update on Willy Gnonto, Georginio Rutter and Crysencio Summerville's Leeds United futures

Speaking on Football Insider's Inside Track podcast, Pete O'Rourke has claimed that Leeds are prepared to accept "big offers" for Gnonto, Rutter and Summerville this summer, even though they have already secured a lucrative deal for Gray.

The same journalist has also reported that all three players aren't keen to remain in the second tier - and that an exit for all three is likely before the current window closes.

However, Leeds have held firm on Rutter thus far, rejecting a £30m offer from Brighton and Hove Albion not so long ago.

Daniel Farke will be keen to prevent a Leeds United exodus

Farke will want to retain much of his first-team squad from last term, with the German managing to work well with them.

He will be particularly keen to keep hold of the trio mentioned.

Gnonto may not have endured the best start to last term, but following his transfer saga and recovery from an injury that he sustained, he proved to be a real asset and the fact he was able to put the saga behind him is commendable.

Summerville, meanwhile, was arguably the Whites' most important player last term, registering 31 goalscoring contributions (goals and assists combined) and proving to be a major threat out on the wing.

And Rutter is a versatile option to have, as someone who can operate as a striker and an advanced midfielder. His attacking contributions and dribbling skills could come in handy next term if he stays put.
