Liverpool have no intention of pursuing a swap deal with Real Madrid involving Ryan Gravenberch and Aurelien Tchouameni.
Real Madrid are understood to have been impressed by Gravenberch’s performances this season with the midfielder having developed into a key figure for the Reds.
The 22-year-old leads the Premier League for interceptions (31) and percentage of aerial duels on (88.2%). His emergence as an integral player, after an underwhelming first season at Anfield, has attracted interest from Europe.
However, Sky Germany are reporting that Liverpool have no intention of letting the Dutchman leave.
Real Madrid have been linked with offering Tchouameni as part of a potential swap deal, with Liverpool long-term admirers of the Frenchman. The Reds were beaten to Tchouameni’s signing by the Spaniards in 2022.
Tchouameni cost Real Madrid an initial €80m when arriving from AS Monaco and has since won seven trophies with Carlo Ancelotti’s side, including a La Liga and Champions League double last season.
However, he has been named as a potential departure with the European champions reportedly willing to sell for the right price.
