Aurelien Tchouameni has emerged as a valuable talent for Real Madrid since joining them from Monaco in the summer of 2022. The player has already integrated as a regular starter in the senior side and remains a bright prospect for a long period.

However, the dip in the form of Tchouameni in recent times has raised doubts over his quality. He has featured in 18 games and hasn’t contributed to any goal directly yet. He is averaging 1.9 tackles, 1.4 interceptions, and 1.5 clearances per game (stats via whoscored).
The French midfielder is better known for his defensive traits. He is physicality strong, covers a lot of ground, and often makes timely tackles. His passing range is also decent enough, allowing him to control the tempo of the game.
Ryan Gravenberch joined Liverpool last summer but he struggled to adapt in the initial phase. However, Arne Slot has brought the best of the player as he has started all the games so far. While the manager would like to keep the midfielder, the club believe it won’t be a bad decision to sell him to Real Madrid.
However, the Reds will only allow Gravenberch to fly to Madrid if the Spanish side includes Aurelien Tchouameni in the deal. The English side wanted to sign the French midfielder before he signed for the Whites and their interest remains consistent.
