Paris Saint-Germain are injecting youth into their backline beginning earlier this year with the arrival of Lucas Beraldo and then this summer with the signing of Willian Pacho.

The latest name on the Ligue 1 side’s radar is Palmeiras youngster Vitor Reis. According to ESPN Brazil, Manchester United, Arsenal, and PSG are also interested in the promising defender.

Given his contract running until December 2028 and a release clause of €100 million, it’s unlikely that any club will make a hasty offer. Instead, top clubs will likely take this season to closely assess the young Brazilian.

Another European club that has reportedly entered the mix to monitor this young talent is Liverpool. Football Insider reported Friday that the Reds are doing their “due diligence” on signing Reis.

The report adds that the youngster is keen on a move to Europe to play in the Champions League, but Palmeiras are determined to keep him for the immediate future.

Liverpool are eager to blend young, exciting talents with established stars, and despite the widespread interest, Reis is not currently one of their top targets.
