On Sunday, L’Équipe reported ongoing communication between Paris Saint-Germain and Mohamed Salah’s representatives, with the forward now appearing more receptive to the idea of a move to Paris. This development has fueled speculation about a potential transfer.
However, PSG have dismissed the rumors, with a club spokesperson telling the French outlet, “It’s not true.” The report also hints that Salah may be leveraging these rumors to strengthen his position in contract negotiations with Liverpool.
A recent report from Football Insider claims Salah is seeking a lucrative contract extension to keep him at Anfield until 2027. At 32, the Egyptian forward has cemented his status as a Liverpool legend with an outstanding goal-scoring record and is reportedly aiming for “three more years” with the club.

Amid the ongoing rumor that PSG is keen on Salah, the Liverpool veteran went on X and posted a picture of himself and supporters with no caption to go with the image.
Journalist Ben Jacobs reported on Monday, citing sources, that PSG are not currently in talks with Salah.
Although Salah has a long-standing friendship with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the French club has not taken any action. Jacobs also suggests that Salah could use PSG’s name to put more pressure on Liverpool.
