Maiden call-up for Riccardo Turicchia | OneFootball

It's a special day for young defender Riccardo Turicchia, who has received his very first call-up to the Juventus First Team squad for Sunday's night's Serie A encounter against Udinese at the Allianz Stadium.

The 22-year-old, who hails from Imola, has caught the eye following a number convincing performances throughout the second half of this season with the Next Gen side, following his return - at the end of January - from his loan at Catanzaro. The left-back featured in 14 of the 16 matches played by the team coached by Massimo Brambilla, an almost ever-present in the season's run-in.

WHO IS RICCARDO TURICCHIA?

Turicchia - in Bianconero since 2018 and a product of our Youth Sector - has been in the Next Gen squad since the 2022/2023 season, even though he made his debut a year earlier, in October 2021. In the last two and a half seasons with the Bianconeri's Second Team, he has made 73 appearances and scored four goals - two of which were in an away match against Latina on 16 March.
