Manchester United are reportedly tracking young Feyenoord midfielder Antoni Milambo, as they look to poach him in the future.

According to Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg, the Red Devils have been monitoring the 19-year-old for a while, and they will continue to do so in the coming months.

While the source doesn’t specify when the Premier League giants will decide to make a concrete move, they reportedly consider the Dutchman as the right profile for Ruben Amorim’s newly implemented system.

The Portuguese boss will certainly ring the changes in the upcoming transfer sessions, as he’s currently having to work with a squad garnered by his predecessor Erik ten Hag. Hence, some players are filling in unconventional roles in the newly adopted 3-4-2-1 formation.

So it remains to be seen if Milambo would be one of the profiles to join Amorim’s revolution

The teenager was born and raised in Rotterdam, so he joined Feyenoord’s academy at a tender age in 2014. After climbing his way up the ranks, he has now cemented himself as a regular starter for the Dutch giants. His contract with the club is valid until the summer of 2027.

This season, he has made 16 appearances across all competitions, showcasing a knack for scoring goals by bagging six thus far.

Milambo primarily plays as an attacking midfielder, but he can also feature in a deeper role in the middle of the park.

While the youngster has Congolese origins, he has been representing the Netherlands’s various youth squads. He currently features for their U21 team.
