Following Manchester City’s defeat to Tottenham in the Carabao Cup Pep Guardiola’s side had a host of injury concerns to arise out of the game. One of those was defender Josko Gvardiol. City’s Rolls Royce was seen receiving treatment at the end of the game. But a social media post from Gvardiol appears to have allayed any concerns over the fitness of the Croatian international. That would be a massive boost ahead of City’s Premier League clash with Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.

In an Instagram post, Manchester City’s Rolls Royce thanked City’s fans for their support at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Tellingly, he added that he would see them on Saturday. The hope is that Gvardiol’s post indicates that he is available for City’s clash against the Cherries. A tough game awaits Manchester City at the Vitality Stadium, and if Gvardiol is available, that would be a boost for Pep Guardiola’s side.

Speaking after Manchester City’s defeat to Tottenham Pep Guardiola was unsure about Josko Gvardiol’s condition. When asked about the injury status of the Croatian defender he said: “I don’t know, I didn’t speak. Every time I went near the massage tables it was too busy, too crowded, so I don’t know.

It is no secret that Manchester City need all hands on deck for their next three games. The champions face three tricky away fixtures against Bournemouth, Sporting Lisbon and Brighton. That run of fixtures begins on Saturday against Bournemouth. If Josko Gvardiol is available that will be a huge boost for Pep Guardiola’s side. The Croatian international has started the season superbly and will likely have a key role to play against the Cherries if he is fit to play.
