Geovany Quenda is a promising talent to make his way out of the Sporting CP youth system. He has always been a highly-rated name within the club and he has been proving it this season. Making his debut for the senior side, he has already established himself in the starting XI.

Quenda has featured in 20 games in the ongoing campaign so far. In these many outings, he has netted two goals and provided as many assists. He is averaging 1.4 shots, 1.4 key passes, and 1.2 dribbles per game (stats via whoscored).
The Portuguese is a technically gifted and sound footballer. He is known for his pace, dribbling skills, creativity, and quick passing abilities. While his defensive traits could be improved, he is a force to reckon with in the third final.
Ruben Amorim has already hinted that he is going to use a three-man backline in his core formation. However, the likes of Amad Diallo, Diogo Dalot and Noussair Mazraoui might not be the best-suited names to perform the profile’s duties.
Hence, Manchester United might prefer going after a name that can do the job more effectively. One of the names that has emerged is Geovany Quenda with whom Amorim has already worked before. Reportedly, the player is also keen on joining forces with his ex-manager if given a chance.
While the youngster has a €100 million release clause, the Red Devils will fancy an offer of up to €60 million. Notably, Quenda can only join Manchester United once he turns 18, which means he cannot come before next summer.
