According to a report by John Percy of The Telegraph, Olympique de Marseille have sent a third bid for Norwich City’s Jonathan Rowe (21) over the weekend. The deal is thought to be structured around a loan with an obligation to buy for an estimated £13.5 million.

Negotiations between the French club and their English counterparts are still ongoing but it appears as if Marseille are close to winning the race for the winger with there now being an expectation that a deal will be agreed upon soon.

Marseille face competition from Leeds for Jonathan Rowe

Marseille faced stiff competition from Leeds United, who are also said to be interested in agreeing a deal with their Championship rivals for Rowe. However, it is thought that the left winger had a preference for joining Les Phocéens over The Whites. Rowe has put pressure on Norwich to sell him to Marseille with the winger withdrawing from the matchday squads to try and force a move.
