Nottingham Forest working on move for Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic | OneFootball

Premier League side Nottingham Forest are interested in Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic and are working on a move for the Serbian.

Milenkovic was previously linked with a move to West Ham before he signed a new deal at La Viola. Gianluca di Marzio has reported of Forest’s keen interest in the Serbian and their interest has been confirmed.

Negotiations are underway and while they are not close or advanced, the defender is seen as a key target, even if the structure of the move isn’t truly defined by the two parties.

Fiorentina seem on the verge of sealing their move for Nicolás Valentini and the likelihood is that he would be a replacement for Milenkovic. While the Serbian has been a regular for Fiorentina in recent seasons but there is a feeling that his development hasn’t quite gone as promised and he is not stagnating, making Valentini an important signing.
