Official sources for Orlando City SC aren’t talking just yet. But the new Adidas home kit for the players has leaked. The leak looks legitimate.

It’s a jersey that moves away from the purple we’ve gotten used to a startlingly brighter hue. But the brighter field isn’t unheard of even in recent official offerings.

Early in the past season Orlando City announced a Legacy Kit with blue trim on the collar and sleeve.

This 2024 kit paid tribute to the players who built Orlando City from the beginning. The most meaningful colors are purple and red. Those are the colors worn by the USL Pro squads preceding today’s players.

The body of this kit introduced lavender as the primary color.

The new, leaked home jersey was first reported by @LoganTMiller on X. It’s trimmed with basic white stripes and trim on a purple so bright it looks almost blue.

Soccer jerseys – as well as those of American rules football – have gotten more stylish and even taken on flash since the introduction of synthetic fabrics in the 1960s. This new Adidas jersey joins the newest wave of high-tech fabrics.

The overseas Lions supporter group Orlando City UK determined that the style of this design suggests a hurricane on the pitch. All the reports on this still-unofficial kit say it will feature for the next two seasons.
