Moise Kean was once again under the spotlight as he hurt his former side Juventus to earn Fiorentina one point at the Allianz Stadium, with his coach Raffaele Palladino admitting he repeatedly tried to sign him in the past and had to be ‘very persuasive’ to lure him at the Viola.
The 24-year-old scored his side’s first goal of the match and flicked the ball into Riccardo Sottil’s way to set up a late equaliser, leaving his boss delighted with his goal involvements and the ‘great job’ he does for the team.

Palladino spent two seasons at Monza, his first in Serie A as a coach, before moving to the Artemio Franchi, during which he had already identified Kean as his ideal striker, albeit failing to convince him to join the Biancorossi.
“Moise is doing a great job for the team; he’s our striker and a leader, not just in possession,” Palladino told DAZN after the match, as quoted by Il Bianconero.
“He needs to keep going like this because he can still grow. Together with the club, we’ve given him a lot of trust and love, and he’s done well to repay it.

“I’ve been calling him for two years, I tried, and I was very persuasive this year. Credit also goes to the club because Fiorentina have excellent management. I’m happy with Moise Kean and the entire team.”
The Viola remained level on 32 points with Juventus after their head-to-head, but they have a game in hand to be played against Inter.
