Turkiye national team coach Vincenzo Montella visited Fenerbahce and José Mourinho on Sunday and thanked the ex-Roma boss for the ‘pleasant chat.’

Montella and Mourinho, two former Roma coaches, reunited at the Fenerbahce training ground on Sunday ahead of Turkiye games in the Nations League.

The Italian tactician shared a few pictures from his meeting with Mou on his official Instagram account and thanked his colleague for the warm welcome.

“Ahead of our upcoming matches in UEFA Nations League, I got together with Fenerbahçe coach José Mourinho and our national team players there in my visit to the club’s training facilities today,” said Montella.

“I would like to thank José for his warm welcome and pleasant chat.”

It is no secret that Montella and Mou are on excellent terms. Not only the Aeroplanino once visited Roma and the Special One during his time in the capital, but the duo also reunited for a Fulham game a few months ago, just before Mourinho’s appointment as Fenerbahce’s head coach.
