Juventus

Di Gregorio 6.5 – Confident with the ball at his feet. Super save on Dumfries, although Thuram had committed a foul in the build-up.

Weah 6.5 – The American is becoming increasingly confident in the right-back position, even if he took some risks with a couple of dribbles in the second half.

Gatti 7 – Rock solid at the back and made some dangerous forward runs in the second half.

Renato Veiga 7.5 – Superb performance from the Chelsea loanee. Tough to beat Physically and composed on the ball (88% passing accuracy via Sofascore).

Savona 5 – Struggled against Dumfries in the first half. He was less under pressure after the break, but his substitution was inevitable (59′ Cambiaso 7)

Koopmeiners 6 – He was supposed to be the Juventus playmaker but was too slow on the ball. Way better in the second half when he played in a more advanced position and came close to scoring the second.

K Thuram 6.5 – A tough first half for the Frenchman, but his physicality emerged in the second half when he inspired Juventus’ attacking manoeuvres. (77′ Locatelli 6).

Conceiçao 8 – Scored a beautiful goal that gave him a massive boost as he continued to sprint, attack and defend until he was subbed off. (81′ Yildiz N/A).

McKennie 6.5 – Captained Juventus for the second time this season. He played as a pure No.10 but still did much dirty work.

Nico Gonzalez 6 – Highs and lows, but the second half was surely more positive with a couple of nice crosses.

Kolo Muani 7 – He had the best chance in the first half, but his shot on target was deflected and resulted in a corner for the Bianconeri. Contributed to Conceiçao’s opener with a fantastic roulette in the build-up.

Coach: Motta 7 – Juventus’ first-half performance was frankly disappointing as Inter had more than a chance to take the lead, but substitutions made a difference for the Old Lady this time.

Inter

Sommer 6 – A couple of routine saves before Conceiçao’s goal.

Pavard 6.5 – Inter’s best defender tonight. He won several duels,  but it wasn’t enough to win the game.

Acerbi 5.5 – Kolo Muani gave him a hard time in the second half.

Bastoni 6 – The Italian played as a pure left-back, making 67 touches (93% passing accuracy), winning seven duels from 10 and forcing Conceiçao to get a yellow card after the break. Not exactly happy when he was subbed off. (61′ Carlos Augusto 5)

Dumfries 7 – Hit the woodwork in the first half after one of his many forward runs. Incredible goal-line clearance with Juventus 1-0 up.

Barella 6 – Dangerous with some late runs in the opening stages. The rest of the game was the usual mix of stamina, impressive work rate and quality (superb backheel pass in the second half).

Calhanoglu 5 – Clearly still not fully fit. The second-half performance was below par and he was too soft on Kolo Muani before Conceiçao’s goal. (80′ Zielinski N/A).

Mkhitaryan 5.5 – Similar to Calhanoglu. The first-half performance was very good, but fatigue emerged afterwards (80′ Correa N/A)

Dimarco 5.5 – His passes were fairly accurate, but he didn’t put dangerous crosses inside the box. (61′ Zalewski 5.5)

Taremi 6 – Came close to scoring with a lovely bicycle kick attempt. It was the highlight of his game. (61′ Thuram 5)

Lautaro Martinez 4 – El Toro wasted a golden chance in the first half, sending a shot over the crossbar from an excellent position inside the box.

Coach: Inzaghi 5 – Probably replaced Bastoni and Dimarco too early. Some key players are not fully fit and it was evident after the break. The Nerazzurri wasted a massive chance to move to the top of the table.
