There are still eight games left to be played in the Premiership season, while Celtic are also in the Scottish Cup semi-finals, as they look to complete another domestic treble. But transfer rumours are starting to crop up left, right and centre as we head towards the summer window, both in terms of incomings and outgoings.
Celtic are being linked with quite a few possible moves. Names like Mathias Kvistgaarden of Brondby IF, Kalidou Sidibe of Guingamp and Harba Guirassy of FC Nantes are already doing the rounds of the rumour mill. And one would imagine that more will come up over the coming weeks and months.
On the other hand, there are those who could be headed out as well. Important players like Cameron Carter-Vickers and Nicolas Kuhn have been linked with moves away in recent times.
One player who is almost certain to leave is Daniel Cummings. His current deal runs out in the summer and he has not signed an extension. As a result, an exit seems to be inevitable at this point.
As reported by Claret & Hugh, Mark Noble was in discussions with the player and his representatives CAA Base in February. The site can exclusively confirm that talks are still ongoing.
Cummings has been in brilliant form for Celtic at the youth levels this season. But that has not led to him getting many chances for the senior team.
Like many before him, it looks like the youngster will be leaving Celtic before making a real mark on the senior team. Names who fall under that category are Rocco Vata, Ben Doak and Daniel Kelly. And to be very honest, it is not hard to understand why these youngsters choose to leave as there is no clear pathway for them.
