Marcus Rashford has won the Premier League’s Goal of the Month award for March.
That comes courtesy of his stunning thunderbolt against Manchester City in the derby at the Etihad Stadium.
Although his side went on to lose the game, that is a goal which will live long in the memory.
Previously, Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola was named Premier League Manager of the Month for March.
The Spaniard wins the award for the first time, having guided the Cherries to three wins from four matches last month, in which they scored 10 goals along the way.
He beat Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta, Liverpool’s Jürgen Klopp and Tottenham Hotspur’s Ange Postecoglou to the award.
Earlier on Friday, breakout Fulham striking star Rodrigo Muniz has been named the Premier League’s Player of the Month for March.
He enjoyed a stellar month in which he scored four times (including a sublime late scissor kick equaliser at Sheffield United) and provided an assist.
It is the first time in Muniz’s career that he has won the award and he is just the third Fulham player ever to win it – after Louis Saha and Mark Schwarzer, who was the last Cottager to win it 14 years ago.
The Brazilian beat out stiff competition for the award from Heung min-Son, Alexander Isak, Alexis Mac Allister, Ben White, Cole Palmer and Antoine Semenyo.
