Sunday's postponed tie rearranged for Tuesday.
Leeds United Women welcome Yorkshire rivals Hull City Ladies to the Bannister Prentice Stadium in the penultimate match of their FAWNL Division One North campaign.
Originally scheduled to be played over the weekend, the tie fell foul of the weather and will now take place on Tuesday evening, with kick off at 7:45pm in Garforth.
Since falling to defeat away at FC United of Manchester earlier in the month, Simon Wood’s side have responded superbly, starting with a resounding 4-1 home success over Chorley.
A stellar second-half display sealed the three points for the Whites, with Women’s Player of the Year Jess Rousseau and substitute Kath Smith each grabbing a brace.
A trip over the Pennines followed for United as they travelled to Stockport County, showing great character and resilience as they fought back on two separate occasions to earn a 3-3 draw in Cheshire.
Defender Ellie Dobson had put Leeds into an early lead, on hand at the back post to bundle home a Sarah Danby corner, before the hosts hit back and went ahead before the break.
Rousseau then responded in emphatic style after the interval with a strike into the corner, before the Hatters again edged in front with 10 minutes to play.
Wood’s side weren’t to be denied a point however as Katie Astle powered another dangerous Danby corner into the back of the net, leaving Leeds fifth in the league standings.
Promotion-chasing Hull City head into the tie knowing a win will seal promotion to the FA Women's National League North.
The Tigresses did stumble in the pursuit of the title with a 1-1 draw against strugglers York City last time out, with Helen Lynksey getting on the scoresheet for Hull. That goal, the forward's 16th so far this term, leaves her tied with United's Rousseau in the race for the league's golden boot award.
The East Yorkshire outfit came out on top in a seven-goal thriller when the sides met earlier in the season, running out 4-3 winners in October.
A high-scoring affair last time out:
