Norwich City and Cardiff City go head-to-head at Carrow Road this Saturday in Matchweek 46 of the EFL Championship. The match will be broadcast live at 12:30 on Sky Sports +.
The hosts have picked up 54 points and currently lie in 14th position. In their last fixture, Jack Wilshere's team shared the spoils after a 0-0 draw with Middlesbrough.
Already relegated Cardiff, meanwhile, lie in last place after they drew 0-0 against West Bromwich in Aaron Ramsey's first game as manager of the Bluebirds.
The last meeting between the two teams ended with Cardiff edging to a 2-1 win.
Lucas La Torre (Norwich City FC Brasil - The Brazilian Canaries): Although there's nothing on the line, this game will likely have a festive feel to it as it likely be a farewell to players such as Gunn, Onel and Sorensen and there will also be the Global Canaries event.
Norwich City fans from all parts of the world (including me!) will be there and we hope to see a Canaries win that ends the season on a high.
The only person with any kind of real pressure on them in this one is Wilshere, who will want to secure a permanent place in the dugout next season. Being honest, I would support his appointment.
Let's see how it goes. On the ball, City!
Tom Taylor (Sport Addict Corner): At long last relegation has been confirmed for Cardiff City, the 22 year stint in the second tier or higher is over. It's the worst outcome possible and a stain on the 125th Anniversary season which has been nothing more than a nightmare from start to finish.
It was supposed to be a season where we kicked on after finishing twelfth last year. It looked like it could be going in that direction too after a positive summer transfer window, maybe we'd even push for the playoffs. But the opposite happened, and we're getting a League One tour for it.
If we had to go down this season, I'm almost glad that it was confirmed last week so Cardiff wouldn't be involved in the last day relegation scrap where any team from 23rd to 18th can still go down. It sounds like absolute hell. The last game of the season now seems like a bit of a nothing fixture which is a shame, but neither us nor Norwich have anything to play for.
It'll feel very strange seeing Jack Wilshere and Aaron Ramsey managing against each other, it almost seems like yesterday that they were partnering each other in the Arsenal midfield.
I'm hoping we'll be able to play some fun football without too much worry. Out of our run-in, Norwich was always the game I felt the most confident about. They haven't won in their last six and got battered in their last home game. Now that we're down I can very much see us getting a win when we don't need it. It happened the last time we were in the Premier League, we beat Man United 0-2 at Old Trafford on the last game of the season even though we were relegated the week before. Which is why I'm going for a Cardiff win, it will be very City to show up, play well, and get a good win when it matters least.
