Pumas defender Alan Mendoza has called for calm despite his side’s poor start to the domestic season.
UNAM went down 1-0 to Atlas in the Copa MX on Wednesday but the defender is confident his side can overturn that slim deficit for the return leg in two weeks.

“We can solve this,” he told reporters. “This team has the mentality to overcome situations like this.
“We’re going to analyse the game and reflect on our mistakes – but this is not a crisis.
“In the end you will see that we’ll take confidence from this and move on.”
Pumas must first take on Nexaca and Leones Negros in the league, before travelling to Atlas for the second leg of the Copa.
