Brazil forward Endrick will officially become a Real Madrid player on July 21, his 18th birthday, nearly two years after Madrid initially struck a deal with Palmeiras.

Interestingly, a report from SPORT has confirmed that even though he is still not a Real Madrid player, Palmeiras are already reaping monetary benefits from the deal.

For now, the exact date for Endrick’s presentation by Real Madrid has not been officially announced, but it is anticipated to be on the 26th of this month. This timing falls just two days before the end of his vacation, following his participation in the Copa America.

On the presentation day, Endrick will sign a new contract with Real Madrid, committing him to the club until 2029.

He is also expected to join the team’s training sessions in preparation for their tour of the United States, alongside other Brazilian stars like Vinicius, Rodrygo, and Militao.

What benefits are Palmeiras enjoying?

It must be noted that Real Madrid’s agreement with Palmeiras includes a base fee of €35 million, with an additional €25 million in potential performance-related variables.

Furthermore, there are tax implications amounting to around €12 million, bringing the total cost to roughly €72 million.

Endrick’s salary is set to be below €10 million gross for his first two seasons. In return, Real Madrid will retain 50% of Endrick’s image rights, which will help offset part of their investment.

Interestingly, Palmeiras are already seeing financial gains from the transfer due to various performance-related clauses in the agreement with Real Madrid.

For instance, there is a bonus of €2.5 million for goals scored by Endrick while he was still with Palmeiras. According to sources, he has already netted 20 goals since the agreement was finalized, earning Palmeiras an additional €5 million.

Additionally, Palmeiras will receive €1.25 million because Endrick played in the Copa America, despite his performance not being particularly impressive in that tournament.

In addition to the fixed fee of €35 million, Palmeiras have already received €6.25 million before Endrick even dons the Real Madrid jersey, bringing the total transfer fee to €41.25 million so far.

Endrick’s journey with Real Madrid is just beginning, and Palmeiras hope to continue receiving payments until the total reaches the €60 million they valued the player at during the bidding process, which Real Madrid ultimately won.
