As per a report published by Fichajes, Real Madrid has decided to part ways with Aurelien Tchouameni next summer as they look for a more organised midfielder. The player has notable interest from multiple Premier League clubs.

Real Madrid signed Aurelien Tchouameni from Monaco in the summer of 2022 for over €80 million. While the player started his new life in Spain on a strong note, he has certainly fallen down the pack in recent times

Tchouameni has failed to make an impact this season so far. He has featured in 21 games and has no direct goal contribution to his name. He is averaging 1.8 tackles, 1.3 interceptions, and 1.6 clearances per game (stats via whoscored).

The French midfielder is primarily a defensive midfielder but can also be deployed as a centre-back. He has solid defensive traits including timely tackle and shot-blocking techniques. His passing accuracy is also good though he lacks creative instincts.

Aurelien Tchouameni can move Premier League

Real Madrid brought Aurelien Tchouameni with a lot of expectations, which he has been unable to meet. He is struggling to make enough impact in the midfield in the absence of Toni Kroos.

While Tchouameni failed in the midfield, Carlo Ancelotti used him as a centre-back amid injuries. However, the Frenchman hasn’t been able to impress there as well. Hence, the Whites have made up their mind to offload the player permanently.

Real Madrid will try signing a midfielder who can organize the play better in the middle of the park with the funds they raise with the proceeds of Tchouameni. Fortunately, the 24-year-old has interest from the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United. However, acquiring his services will surely come at a premium fee as he is still valuable enough.
