Simone Inzaghi keen on signing Mario Hermoso at Inter | OneFootball

Serie A champions Inter could yet end up signing Spanish defender Mario Hermoso, as manager Simone Inzaghi remains keen on the signature.

Daniele Longo has reported about the future of Hermoso, stating that he is yet to agree terms with any club even though he has received some interesting offers from the Premier League and from Saudi Arabia. As of now, the defender is happy to reduce his wage demands to below €5 million per season.

Inter have been presented with a chance to sign him and they do not want to miss the opportunity, with Inzaghi keen. He sees Hermoso as an ideal option for the defensive department and he is pushing Piero Ausilio and Beppe Marotta to sign the defender and convince Oaktree regarding the move.

The salary demands are in line with what Inter can pay and the age factor doesn’t seem to bother the Nerazzurri too much. Inter’s decision will be communicated to the entourage of the Spaniard in the next few days, with Napoli’s move taking time as they have to move defenders on.
