The latest round of Euro 2024 qualifying continued on Sunday with action from four of the groups.
Hereâs what went down.
Scorers: Gavi 49âČ
Spain booked their place at Euro 2024 courtesy of a narrow and controversy-laden win over Norway.
La Roja appeared to have taken an early lead through Ălvaro Morata seizing on a defensive mistake by Stefan Strandberg but was flagged offside by VAR.
An opener finally arrived for Luis de la Fuenteâs side, albeit after another lengthy VAR review, when Gavi swept home a loose ball in the hostsâ penalty area.
The three-time European championsâ result in Oslo also confirmed Scotlandâs place as Group A runners-up heading to next summerâs finals in Germany.
Scorers: Wilson 47âČ, 60âČ; PaĆĄaliÄ 75âČ
Wales moved into the final Group D qualification spot with a Harry Wilson-inspired win over Croatia.
Rob Pageâs side were rewarded for their prolonged control of the first half with Wilson hooking a sublime opener just two minutes after the restart.
The Fulham winger doubled his tally inside 13 minutes with a deft backward header from Daniel Jamesâ left-sided delivery to beat Dominik LivakoviÄ a second time.
But Mario PaĆĄaliÄ threatened to set up a potentially nervy finale by sending a flick-on past Danny Ward in the final 15 minutes at the Cardiff City Stadium.
Scorers: Ćwiderski 53âČ; Nicolaescu 26âČ
Polandâs Euro 2024 qualification hopes suffered a blow as they were held by Moldova.
Ion Nicolaescu gave the visitors a surprise lead midway through the first half by meeting Vadim RaÈÄâs corner with a downward header.
But Karol Ćwiderski restored parity on 53 minutes by shaking off Vladyslav Babohlo to convert Piotr ZieliĆskiâs cross with a turn and shot.
The result saw MichaĆ Probierzâs side drop down to third in Group E, behind second-placed Czech Republic by a point, having played a game more.
Scorers: AkgĂŒn 57âČ, Tosun 83âČ, 90+2âČ, AktĂŒrkoÄlu 88âČ
Turkey clinched their place at Euro 2024 with a comprehensive four-goal dismantling of Latvia in Group D.
Yunus AkgĂŒn saw a potential 21st-minute opener ruled out by VAR after he had bundled the ball home from a goalmouth scramble.
The Leicester City wingerâs eventual first goal proved worth the wait after teeing himself up for a volley inside the penalty area in the second half.
Cenk Tosun added a second in the closing stages with a diving header to meet Samet Akaydinâs in-swinging delivery from a recycled free kick.
Just five minutes later, Vincenzo Montellaâs side were in cruise control as Yusuf Sarıâs surging run allowed Kerem AktĂŒrkoÄlu to sweep home.
Tosun doubled his tally in the second minute of added time by sliding the ball past Roberts Ozols from Ä°smail YĂŒksekâs cutback.
Scorers: SouÄek (PEN) 75âČ
TomĂĄĆĄ SouÄek ensured the Czech Republicâs Group E qualifying campaign remained on track with a late win over the Faroe Islands.
The hosts struggled to make the most of their chances with Adam HloĆŸekâs first-half bicycle kick that flew just off target constituting their best opening.
But Jaroslav Ć ilhavĂœâs side were handed a lifeline in the closing stages as a handball by Odmar FĂŠrĂž allowed SouÄek to convert from the penalty spot.
The Czechs moved back up to second in the group still with a game in-hand over their closest challengers Poland.
