Former Roma man Leonardo Spinazzola spoke to the media shortly after facing the Giallorossi.
This time, Spinazzola got on the score sheet for Napoli, but the one goal advantage did not lead to victory as Roma found an equalizer at the 92nd minute with Angelino.
After the match, Spinazzola told the media, “There is certainly some regret, and until Tuesday we will still feel some disappointment.”
“We played a great match, even today, in this great stadium, against an important team like Roma.”
“It was difficult to leave without a win or at least a point, but we managed it. It is normal that conceding a goal in the last minute hurts.”
“They brought in a lot of quality players and we dropped too deep. Maybe it was a mistake, which didn’t happen against Atalanta and Juventus, where we continued to press high.”
“However, we must also give credit to the opponents, who forced us to defend lower. On Tuesday, together with the coach, we will analyze our goals to understand where we can still improve.”
