Celtic are one of the clubs reportedly interested in signing Motherwell youngster Lennon Miller in the next transfer window.

The 18-year-old is widely regarded as a fantastic young talent, and the Bhoys are expected to move for him in January.

Rangers are also interested in signing Miller, but boradcaster Marc Guidi says Celtic are more likely to get him on board due to their financial power.

Journalist Keith Jackson also suggested that Celtic should be working on a deal behind the scenes to sign Miller in January, but they may struggle to compete if Premier League clubs join the race.

Miller to get minutes for Scotland?

Scotland will face Poland in the Nations League on Monday night, and Miller might be given a chance to impress manager Steve Clarke.

Jackson wrote for the Daily Record that Miller is unlikely to get the nod ahead of other senior midfielders on the side, but he should be integrated as soon as possible.

He has predicted that Miller will become a ‘stalwart’ for Scotland in the years to come.

Celtic need to pay premium fee to land Miller

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers will be looking to add more quality to the squad in January, especially if they maintain their impressive form in the Champions League.

Miller is a generational talent, and Motherwell will demand a fee of over £4 million for their prized asset.

Celtic showed ambition in the summer window when they spent big on Adam Idah and Arne Engels, and they should be able to meet Motherwell’s asking price for Miller.

The Hoops will visit Hearts in the Scottish Premiership after the international break on Saturday, November 23.
