Temwa Chawinga has grabbed the National Women’s Soccer League by storm – and doesn’t appear to be slowing down.
The 25-year-old Kansas City Current forward scored in her 12th different match this season after a striking toe-poke beat the Utah Royals 1-0.
It’s the eighth consecutive match in which she’s found the back of the net, equaling the league’s single regular season record. Chawinga moved level with NWSL Sam Kerr (2019) and Kim Little (2014).
Just how high can she go?
