According to a report from L’Équipe, Toulouse FC have rejected an €18m bid from Brentford for Dutch forward Thijs Dallinga (23).

Toulouse have struggled for goals throughout this season. Le TéFéCé are Ligue 1’s joint-second lowest goalscorers with just 16 in 18 games. Whilst Dallinga hasn’t scored in his last four, the Netherlands international has once again been a very important source of goals for Toulouse.

The Feyenoord academy product has 10 goals in 26 games in all competitions, making him the key man in Toulouse’s fight for survival. As a result, Dallinga is considered untransferable this month. President Damien Comolli has rejected an opening offer of €18m from Dallinga this month, with Le TéFéCé holding out for between €35-40m for the player that they bought for just €2.5m from Excelsior Rotterdam in July 2022.

L’Équipe added that Toulouse had already rejected a €20m offer for Dallinga back in August after the Dutchman registered 18 goals in 42 matches in his first season at The Stadium.
