Roman Yaremchuk is set to join Valencia, report Relevo. The Ukrainian striker will arrive on loan from Club Brugge and the deal will be closed when Samu Castillejo leaves for Serie A side Sassuolo in the next few hours.

With the departure of the Spaniard, Los Che can finance the transfer of Yaremchuk, which is set to be in the region of €3m.

The Brugge striker, 27, has agreed to lower his salary to move to Mestalla. The transfer, as it stands, does not include an option to buy.

Yaremchuk has been with Brugge since last season. The Belgian club paid €17m for his services for their Champions project. His performances were not as expected and he is now willing to leave to club for more game time.

Paco Alcácer was another of the names on the list at Mestalla, but head coach Rubén Baraja was looking for a different profile.
