The forward has been sidelined with a leg injury
In a huge blow to the Spanish giants, the forward has picked up an injury to his left leg and is now considered a significant doubt to face the Premier League leaders on Wednesday evening.
Madrid are due to confirm their matchday squad ahead of flying to England on Tuesday.
A club statement read: "Following tests carried out today by the Real Madrid Medical Services on our player Vini Jr., he has been diagnosed with an injury to the biceps femoris in his left leg. His progress will be monitored."
In more positive news for Los Blancos head coach Carlo Ancelotti, Rodrygo, Aurelien Tchouameni and Lucas Vazquez are all pushing to be available after injury. Arda Guler and Dani Ceballos started against Leganes and are the most likely to drop out for a huge Champions League clash.
