Alvaro Morata has said goodbye to AC Milan and will soon sign his contract with Galatasaray. Earlier this afternoon, he arrived in Istanbul and as expected, he was greeted by many fans at the airport.
As Milan entered into advanced negotiations with Feyenoord over Santiago Gimenez, who now has completed his medical , the Rossoneri also started working on Alvaro Morata’s departure. Galatasaray jumped on the opportunity and managed to reach an agreement.
Earlier this afternoon, Morata landed in Istanbul to complete the transfer, as captured by beIN Sports. Many fans were present outside the airport, as is tradition when Galatasaray welcomes a new player, and the Rossoneri man looked very happy.
The formula of the move is a six-month loan, which then will be extended by 12 months in the summer (18 in total). There is an option to buy in the contract which could become an obligation under certain conditions, as explained by Matteo Moretto.
