Wolfsburg’s Josip Brekalo is yet to seal a move to Serie A side Monza, with the transfer fee yet to be ascertained.
While it has been previously reported that the Croatian is all but set to join Monza, Alfredo Pedulla has provided an update about the situation of the player.
He reports that Wolfsburg want €1 million to sell the player this summer but all commissions included, the fee will be €3 million for the ex-Torino man. While Monza are in the lead for the playmaker, they are yet to be fully sure about paying that fee for Brekalo.
If Adriano Galliani changes his mind about the move, Brekalo could move abroad but the player’s priority is to return to Serie A after a very good spell with Torino last season. He has been offered to Fiorentina already and Bologna also have the chance to sign him, but La Viola are well stacked in the attacking midfield positions right now.
