Several leading members of the first-team setup at La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Wednesday sent messages of support and well-wishes to the community of Valencia.
This comes owing to the devastation in and around the city over the last 24 hours.
Valencia was last night hit by flash floods, caused by a sudden DANA – an Isolated Depression at High Altitudes.
Over 60 people have since been reported as dead, with many others missing, too.
With the city having since entered an official state or mourning, the understanding is that Valencia’s La Liga fixture against Real Madrid, scheduled for Saturday, is set to be postponed.
A minute’s silence, in turn, was observed prior to Real’s training session at Valdebebas on Wednesday.
And, as alluded to above, in the hours since, a number of Los Blancos’ most high-profile stars have taken to social media, to pass messages of love and support on to those affected.
