Celtic defender Jeffrey Schlupp is targeting success with the club before the end of the season before weighing up his next move. The 32-year-old joined from Crystal Palace on a loan until the end of the season but has become a first team regular.
Speaking after Saturday’s win over Hearts, Schlupp admitted he was loving his time at the club and refused to rule out signing a permanent deal when his Palace contract expires.
“I’m loving it here at the minute. Regarding next season, nothing has been spoken about. I’m concentrating on this season, getting more minutes and winning more games. Hopefully I can finish off the campaign strongly, but everything is a possibility.

“I had to think seriously about coming here in the first place, and anything that happens in the summer will be a big decision for me too — but we’ll see what happens.
“As far as I’m aware, I have come here on loan. That’s all that has been mentioned – play to the end of the season, get some minutes in.
“Play well, have some fun and we will see what happens after that. As I’ve said a number of times, I have loved being at Celtic, and my performances have shown that, I think.”
Since joining from Palace, Schlupp had made 11 appearances in all appearances scoring once and laying on one assist.
After the game, Brendan admitted that it’s likely that Greg Taylor will leave the club meaning that there could be a space in the squad for next season when Kieran Tierney returns. The Scotland Internationalist has signed a pre-contract with the club and will make an incredible return to the club six years after swapping Glasgow for North London.
