Manchester United are reportedly in the race to sign Real Madrid youngster Arda Guler who’s looking for a new challenge amidst the lack of playing time.

The Red Devils are expected to embark on a busy transfer session next summer in order to revamp the squad and try to lift themselves from their shambolic state.

The club is currently being linked with a host of players capable of adding quality to various departments, but bolstering the attacking third will surely be one of the priorities for Technical Director Jason Wilcox, especially after failing to address this issue in January.

According to Fichajes.net, United are showing strong interest in Guler who is unhappy with the amount of playing time he’s currently earning at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The 19-year-old is a talented right winger who can also feature as an attacking midfielder. However, he’s finding it hard to carve himself a prominent role within a squad blessed with astonishing attacking talent, the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius, Rodrygo and Jude Bellingham, just to name a few.

Nevertheless, the teenager has managed to impress when given the opportunity, scoring three goals and providing five assists this season. Even Jose Mourinho sang the youngster’s praise last December.

“Arda is showing great personality and exceptional quality. To play at that club, personality is crucial. Players must internalize that they are good enough to play there. They can’t be afraid,” said the current Fenerbahce head coach.

Hence, the Spanish website claims that the Turkiye international is open to a new challenge next summer, and Man Utd are willing to splash the cash to secure his services. However, the Red Devils aren’t alone in the race, as Liverpool and Bayern Munich are also mentioned as keen admirers of the player.
