RB Leipzig expected to permanently sign on loan Aston Villa full-back Kosta Nedeljkovic | OneFootball

Sky Germany reports that RB Leipzig are expected to complete the permanent signing of right-back Kosta Nedeljkovic, who is currently on loan from Aston Villa.

Leipzig sees the Serbian as a signing for the future, who they can sign at a reasonable price. Although no concrete decision has been made, the signs are positive.

The 19-year-old only signed for parent club Villa last summer from native Red Star Belgrade but struggled for game time in the Premier League only playing 10 times. Since moving to Leipzig in the winter, Nedeljkovic has made three appearances.

The fee for Nedeljkovic is likely to be around €15m, a €10.5m base fee and €4.5m in add-ons.

Since the injury to Benjamin Henrichs at the back end of last calendar year, the right-back position has been a problem area for Leipzig. In the winter, Ridle Baku also joined as a backup option for Henrichs and has been the main option.
