Juventus are close to agreeing a deal with AC Milan for Fikayo Tomori, a report claims, but the arrival of Sergio Conceicao could disrupt things.

According to what is being reported this morning by Tuttosport (via MilanPress), Conceicao wants to have a look at all the players that are in the Milan squad before any final decisions are made, and that applies to Tomori too.

The Englishman had dropped down the defensive hierarchy under Paulo Fonseca and was warming to the idea of moving to Juventus, who expressed a strong interest in signing him given their centre-back injury crisis.

The paper claims that Juve are actually close to agreeing a loan with obligation to buy deal for Tomori and while the figures aren’t mentioned they speak of a €25m valuation and interest from a couple of Premier League clubs.

The Old Lady cannot wait forever and they have alternatives in mind, such as Hancko of Feyenoord and Ismajli of Empoli who are still being considered.

Calciomercato.com are also reporting the same as Tuttosport, stating that Conceicao wants to evaluate Tomori and that the Bianconeri are pushing for him. The new boss may come to the same conclusion as his compatriot before him, so the deal is far from off.
