Pep Guardiola gave a snappy response when asked about the transfer rumours surrounding Manchester City.

City have been heavily linked with moves for RC Lens defender Abdukodir Khusanov and Eintracht Frankfurt forward Omar Marmoush this month.

But Guardiola sent a clear message to journalists in his press conference ahead of the FA Cup clash with Salford City: “Listen, was I not clear in my answer? Come on!

“I’m not going to talk. He’s a player from another club. I’m not going to answer.

“You can ask in every single press conference about the transfer window until the end, I’m not going to answer. Don’t go in that way.

“In the past, it happened the same. I was clear, right?

“You can try it any time you want. No problem at all but you know my answer, okay?”
