Tottenham Hotspur is eyeing not one but two Southampton players this summer transfer window. They want Tyler Dibling and Taylor Harwood-Bellis.

Southampton are surely on their way back to the English second flight. They are on track to play their second season out of the last three in the Championship. At least, though, the fans will have some wins and competition to look forward to again.

Obviously, this is not what Southampton wanted from this season. However, even with two different managers at the helm, this is the situation the Saints find themselves in. Now, it is a case of preparing for the return to the Championship.

Not that Southampton are naive to this fact, but they are about to lose a few players. There are a handful of stars who are far too good for the Championship, so they will be looking to jump ship before the seemingly inevitable relegation.

Taylor Harwood-Bellis could follow Tyler Dibling from Southampton to Tottenham

One side with similar values of developing young English talent is Tottenham Hotspur. Therefore, it's no surprise that Spurs have already begun window shopping and putting together a shortlist of potential Saints to sign this summer.

According to a report from Giuseppe Labellarte of TBR Football, Taylor Harwood-Bellis will leave Southampton this summer as part of a mass exodus. What's more is that Tottenham is one of the interested clubs, unsurprisingly.

Tottenham won't be the only option for Taylor Harwood-Bellis this summer. This is probably a relief for him to hear, given how poorly Spurs have conducted this season. Alongside Spurs, Aston Villa, Brighton and Hove Albion, Crystal Palace, Everton, Newcastle and West Ham United have been listed as potential suitors for the former Man City defender.

Of those options, there is one that Southampton would most like to avoid. While Brighton isn't the biggest rival of Southampton, it's never nice to watch Saints make this South Coast switch.

If I were to predict THB's next club, it would have to be Spurs. This move makes the most sense, considering Spurs' defensive woes this season. It is also likely that Spurs will change their manager if they have any ambition, so some new signings will be made.
