A month in which he grabbed 10 goals in all competitions that has seen us push further ahead at the top of the league and reach the quarter finals of the Scottish Cup.
Daizen Maeda has been consistent in his game all season, and has raised his game a notch after the departure of fellow countryman Kyogo in January, and has eclipsed Nicolas Kuhn as our most valuable player.
His recent well taken goal against St Mirren took his overall goal tally to the season to 26 and with 9 assists thrown in, he is not only our most valuable player, but the best player in the entire country.

That is unquestionable at this moment in time, and only those deluded Ibrox supporters would disagree. Daizen is undoubtedly the favourite in the running to be crowned Player of the Year after a blistering campaign.
He’s now got everything in his locker. He’s full of energy, commitment, he can create goals and now he’s scoring them on a regular basis. He’s raised his game to a new level and is now the complete player. Mainly thanks to himself of course, and Brendan Rodgers who has helped massively in the transformation that’s seen Daizen up his game to new level.

Congratulations to Daizen on being named Player of the Month, he should make room in that cabinet of his for yet another personal honour when he’s announced as player of the year in May. If it’s anyone bar Daizen, then it’s an injustice.
