Real Madrid will look to sign a new centre-back in the summer transfer window and they may come to the Premier League for their summer shopping.

The Spanish giants are linked with a move for Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold with the England international defender set to become a free agent at the end of the season.

With his possible signing, they would have the right-back position secured for a very long time.

The La Liga side are now looking to strengthen their central area of their defense and they have identified one of Premier League’s best defenders this season as their target.

According to Caught Offside sources, Real Madrid are making serious moves to sign Bournemouth defender Dean Huijsen, one of their main targets for the summer transfer window.

The Spanish defender, recently called up by Spain’s national team, has caught the attention of the Blancos, who have struggled with defensive injuries this season.

In recent weeks, Real Madrid scouts have closely monitored Huijsen at Bournemouth, confirming the club’s strong interest.

The 19-year-old, who has made 27 appearances for Bournemouth this season, has a release clause of £50 million, but Madrid are hoping to negotiate a lower fee, around €35 million.

However, securing a discount will not be easy, as many clubs are in the race for his signature.

Liverpool are also interested in Huijsen, as they look to reinforce their defense, especially with Virgil van Dijk’s future still uncertain. Manchester United and Chelsea have also shown interest, making the competition in the Premier League very strong.

Outside England, Bayern Munich are keeping an eye on Huijsen, adding another top club to the race. Meanwhile, a return to Italy does not seem to be an option at the moment.

With top clubs in the world interested in signing the defender, Bournemouth can expect a massive transfer fee coming their way if the defenders is offloaded by the club.

With so many clubs interested, Real Madrid may need to increase their budget to secure Huijsen’s signing this summer. The battle for his signature is expected to be intense in the coming months.
