Nine of the ten Premier League matches now played and fair to say plenty of interesting games and results so far.

So far we have seen three draws and five away victories, only one home win.

Here’s hoping the number of home triumphs is doubled after Monday night.

Premier League fixtures/results this weekend:

Saturday 23 November

Leicester 1 Chelsea 2

Bournemouth 1 Brighton 2

Arsenal 3 Forest 0

Aston Villa 2 Crystal Palace 2

Everton 0 Brentford 0

Fulham 1 Wolves 4

Man City 0 Tottenham 4

Sunday 24 November

Southampton 2 Liverpool 3

Ipswich 1 Man U 1

Monday 25 November

Newcastle v West Ham (8pm)

On Sunday, it was more of the same.

Liverpool carrying their luck, as they have done so often this season, just doing enough to get the win. To their credit, the scousers do keep on playing right to the end and with their expensive squad, have so many options from their bench to finish matches stronger than the opposition. Trailing 2-1 to bottom club Southampton, Liverpool finding a way back to win 3-2 in the end.

Meanwhile, new manager but more of the same for Manchester United today. Despite going ahead in the space of two minutes, Man U showing minimal enterprise to try and double that lead, Ipswich the better team and creating the better chances, fully deserving their equaliser just before the break. They deserved the win and would have got it with better finishing and/or not for Onana being man of the match with some outstanding saves.

All of that leaves the Premier League table looking like this, ahead of Newcastle v West Ham.
