Aston Villa have been handed encouragement in their pursuit of Noni Madueke this summer according to reports.
Chelsea are once again set to have a busy summer and it’s believed they could look to sell as many as seven or eight players in order to fund moves.
The Blues face arguably their most important window under the Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital ownership, with the club looking to sign a striker, centre back and right footed attacker.
There’s set to be plenty of movement in the wides areas this summer, with Brazilian Estevao Willian arriving, whilst the Blues are still undecided on whether they will make Jadon Sancho’s move permanent.
Chelsea also have Geovany Quenda arriving from Sporting Lisbon in 2026, whilst it’s unclear if or when Mykhailo Mudryk will play for the club following a positive doping test in December.

Surprisingly Madueke has been linked with a Stamford Bridge exit this summer and Football Insider have reported Villa have been handed encouragement in their pursuit of the England international.
The report adds Chelsea have raised concerns about Madueke’s attitude in training and whether he fits into Enzo Maresca’s plans.
Football Insider state the 23-year-old is believed to be frustrated about his inconsistent playing time and is thought to be open to a move where he will play more regularly.
There’s said to be a number of Premier League clubs interested in the winger, who has arguably been one of Chelsea’s better performers this season.
Madueke returned to action in Thursday’s win against Tottenham following a hamstring injury and he’s Chelsea third top scorer in the league with seven goals behind Nicolas Jackson and Cole Palmer.

The Englishman has arguably been Chelsea’s best winger this season, and has outperformed summer signings Pedro Neto and Sancho.
It would be a shame to see Madueke leave, but if a good offer came in there’s a real possibility Chelsea would look to cash in.
