Barcelona were dealt a scare when midfielder Frenkie de Jong took a blow midway through the first half and was then subbed off at half-time.
Following the game, the Dutch midfielder was seen limping as he left the Reale Arena, causing concerns, given that he had only recently recovered from an injury and returned to action after more than five months.
The 27-year-old was scheduled to undergo tests today at the club’s facilities to assess his condition and it appears that the reports are positive.
Indeed, according to Javi Miguel of AS, Frenkie de Jong has not suffered an injury and only has a strong blow to his left tibia.
In fact, the midfield star will be travelling to the Netherlands national team camp as planned, suggesting that there are no major worries about any injury.

It will come as a relief for Hansi Flick & co., who have not had the best of luck this season with injury problems.
De Jong only made his comeback around a month ago after spending more than five months out with an ankle injury and another setback would have been a blow for the midfielder’s confidence.
De Jong returned to the Dutch national team camp after months as they gear up to take on Hungary on Saturday in the UEFA Nations League before facing Bosnia and Herzegovina next week.
Netherlands boss Ronald Koeman has previously expressed concerns about how Barcelona had dealt with the midfielder’s previous injury.
So, it will be interesting to see how he uses the star in the two upcoming games, considering that the former Ajax man is coming in with a blow to his tibia.
