El Shaarawy and Cristante nearing end of Roma cycle | OneFootball

Roma are working to resolve numerous issues affecting the team, as well as questions regarding the future of the squad.

At present, several players are deemed no longer part of the project.

With the likes of Paredes and Hummels linked with a January exit from the club, others are also being no longer considered a key part of Roma’s long-term plans.

According to Il Messaggero, there is a general feeling at Trigoria that Bryan Cristante and Stephan El Shaarawy have both reached the end of their respective cycles at the capital club.

The two players will likely leave at the end of the season, with El Shaarawy set to depart as a free agent given the expiry of his contract.
