Goalscorer: Waldemar Anton, the Dortmund player with the most touches in the Klassiker (73), had been goalless for 75 Bundesliga games in a row, and scored for the first time since October 2022.
Strong runs: Borussia Dortmund only had 40 per cent possession, but ran 3.5 kilometres further than the opposing team. Daniel Svensson and Pascal Groß were the two players who ran the furthest, each covering 12.6 kilometres.
On a roll: Maximilian Beier was involved in five goals in the last three Bundesliga games (three goals, two assists). Three of his four most recent Bundesliga goals were headers.
Fair game: There were only 13 fouls (five by BVB players) and no cards given.
Short streak: Borussia Dortmund have gained points in their last three Bundesliga games against the Bavarians (one win, two draws). The last time this happened was twelve years ago under the leadership of Jürgen Klopp. For the first time since the 2012/13 season, both Bundesliga games between the two clubs in the same season ended in a draw.
Second half: Both teams scored twice in the second half. The last time this happened in the Klassiker was in 2006 in Munich, when the final score was 3-3.
Solid backing: Gregor Kobel made eight parries - a personal season's best in a Bundesliga game.
