Scott is these days still strutting his stuff playing for league one outfit Bristol Rovers, the same side he started his long and illustrious career with. Scott would go on to represent sides like Chelsea, Man City and Aston Villa, but it was with Celtic that he made the biggest impact.
Signed by Brendan Rodgers on a four year deal in 2016 for a fee of around £3.5 million from Aston Villa, Scott made an instant impact from the bench by scoring the winner against Hearts at Tynecastle on the opening day of the season.
He would later score a hat trick at the same venue many months later as the Hoops clinched the league title in a season they completed the invincible treble.

He topped off a wonderful season by being named player of the year and rightly so after the individual performances which saw him score an impressive 25 goals in 50 appearances.
Scott wouldn’t match the figures of that campaign in the following few seasons, but by the time he had left the club in early 2020 he had scored 62 goals in 167 appearances, winning a historic treble treble.
He’s a player that will always be fondly remembered by the Celtic supporters. Many happy returns Scott.
