Luis Enrique: "We've grown a lot this season" | OneFootball

The Paris Saint-Germain coach answered questions from PSG TV and the media ahead of the 34th and final Ligue 1 matchday against AJ Auxerre at the Parc des Princes on Saturday 17th May at 9pm. Here are some extracts from the interview.

Campus PSG

'I was the first person to sleep at Campus PSG. It's a very positive story for me! The club got it right with this training centre. Everything is so modern that you can work in the best possible conditions. I think the people who designed it have got it right, everything has been thought out so that the players feel good. The infrastructure is very positive, everything is comfortable, everything is done to help the players improve and all the sections of the club are here.'

the state of mind within the squad

‘The state of mind couldn't be better than it is now, it couldn't be more beautiful, the players are ready, we're going to try and enjoy these next few games with the finals.’

gonçalo Ramos

'Gonçalo is a key player for us, and for me as a coach. He's been directly involved in 24 goals this season. He's a complete guarantee, a player who seems older than he looks. It's wonderful to coach a player like him. He's available to the squad, whether he plays 0 or 90 minutes. His behaviour is impeccable and he's very mature.'

his relationship with the supporters

'What touched me the most was their support and their loyalty during the most difficult times. I hope to bring them joy in these last few matches with tomorrow's game, the final against Reims and the final against Inter in Munich.'

the team's progress

'We've grown a lot this season and the players have progressed a lot. I think the strength of the team is the most important thing. You learn something every day after many years of experience as a coach, and I'm improving all the time with this group.'
